番所の棚田

山鹿市の番所棚田を見に行ってきました。

たどり着くまではこの道であってるんだっけ？(；＾o＾)
と不安になりながら進みましたが、案内の看板を見つけて現地に着くと、
たくさんの棚田と古い石垣がみられるとても落ち着く場所でした。

農村景観コンクールで大賞に選ばれた景観ということで、
他にも棚田を見に来ている人がいました。

本当は彼岸花の名所でもあったんだけど、9月11日時点ではまだ咲き始めといった感じでした。
9月の下旬くらいに見頃を迎えるようなので、その頃にいってみてはどうでしょうか。
